who-oah

It is real.
It is true.
I am ....truly middle-aged.
This totally freaks me out in many ways.
I HAVE to wear glasses to read.
I can't lose weight, in spite of whole wheat fettucini and zero fat dressing and exercising 3X weekly.
I have wrinkles all over my face.
I don't qualify for the under 40 conferences for pastors and preaching women, even though I feel like I do.
I am too old to really entertain the thought of having a baby, even though some women at 44 successfully do.
It is real.
It is true.
I am...truly middle-aged.
oyooyoyoyoyoyo!!!!!

I need glassed to read, and when I stop reading a book and look at the computer, I CAN'T focus for a while. (new thing)

I resonate with everything in your post.

Have mixed feelings about the power/limitations of middle age.

I'm looking forward to reading more.

Happy birthday!

Right there with you (though 46--doesn't that make you feel young?).

Hey, I am 68 and take off me glasses to read these days - so some things get better! Happy birthday, you are in the prime of your life.
