life is good.

I woke up this morning, thinking about clay. Thinking about possibility, about what I want to make, about what I want to learn, about how much I truly enjoyed yesterday. I thought to myself, how lucky am I ? Dan, our welcoming instructor, while going through his sixty page syllabus, says his goal is for us to be thinking about clay all of the time. His vision is effusive. I feel so fortunate (and if you are reading this, Dan, this is NOT a ploy for extra credit!) to get to have a teacher like him, and I am fortunate to be in a studio with so many wonderful artists at different levels and interests and skills in clay. It is a great community. Posted by Picasa
