maybe I wrote about this before...but I have been focusing on "intention" in what I have been doing lately.
In my ministry, I am urging others to be intentional, about invitation, about community, about praying. Intention gives so much more room for the Spirit to work, I think.
In me, too...being intentional is about being aware and mindful more than I am.
It's a spiritual discipline I am working on embracing more fully.

To me intentional also brings authentic action...people sense a difference.
ooh, i like what Purple said as well. i've found it diffiult to be really intentional for the past 6months (since becoming full-time) because everything is so new. thanks for the reminder to slow down, get quiet and be intentional.
I'm experiencing a lot of what "I intend" and "what they perceive I intended" and at this point perception of others seems to be more relevant thatn intentions of me...
...does that make any sense?

yes, yes. i think intentional prayer aids action, allows movement and change, allows freedom from self, maybe that kind of prayer lets the spirit becomes incarnate and move in us...
